How do I move money from my BASIS account to my new savings account?

You don’t need to move money yourself from your Kompas Basis account to your savings account – this happens automatically.

When you create a new savings account, the selected amount will automatically be transferred from your Basis account as soon as the funds are available.

How it works:

• When creating a savings account, you choose the amount to deposit
• If the money is already available on your Basis account, it will be transferred automatically
• If the money is not yet on your Basis account, you have up to 10 days to transfer it from your external bank account
• Once the funds are received on your Basis account, they will automatically be transferred to your savings account

Good to know:

• You cannot manually transfer money from your Basis account to a savings account
• You cannot add more funds to a savings account once it has been created
• If you want to deposit a different amount, you need to create a new savings account
