Can I continuously deposit money into my savings account?
It is not possible to make ongoing deposits into a KOMPAS FIXED or KOMPAS VARIABLE account. When you create one of these savings accounts, you choose the amount you wish to deposit. The amount must be deposited into your BASIS account within 10 days of creation and will then be automatically transferred to your newly created savings account. After this, it is not possible to make additional deposits into the savings account.
If you wish to deposit more money into KOMPAS FIXED or VARIABLE, you can instead open a new savings account, as long as the total deposit across all your savings accounts does not exceed DKK 3,000,000, and each deposit is at least DKK 100,000. By having multiple savings accounts with different lock-in periods, you gain more flexible access to your funds.
However, it is possible to make ongoing deposits into your KOMPAS BASIS account, which functions as your regular account with no lock-in period and a variable interest rate.
